Air freight from the UK to Kenya starts from £6.99/kg — 5kg costs £35, 10kg costs £70, 20kg costs £140. Sea freight starts from £2.50/kg with a minimum shipment of 20kg (£50). All Triple A prices are fully all-inclusive from our UK warehouse to our Nairobi warehouse — including KRA customs clearance, terminal handling, and all Kenyan port charges. Nothing more to pay in Kenya.
With Triple A — no. Our price is your final price. Many UK-Kenya shippers advertise low per-kg rates but these only cover delivery to the Kenyan airport. Customers then face additional charges in Kenya including terminal handling, customs clearance, documentation, examination and storage fees — often adding £100–£300+ to the final bill. Triple A’s all-inclusive price covers everything from our Southall warehouse to our Nairobi warehouse. Guaranteed.
We charge by actual weight in kilograms for most shipments. However, for very light but bulky items, volumetric weight may apply. Volumetric weight is calculated as: Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 6,000. If the volumetric weight is greater than the actual weight, the higher figure is used. Contact us with your item dimensions for an exact quote.
For air freight — no minimum weight. We accept shipments from 1kg upwards. For sea freight — the minimum shipment is 20kg (£50). Sea freight is not economical for small shipments and we recommend air freight for packages under 20kg.
Yes. Our rates reduce for larger shipments: Air freight: £6.99/kg up to 50kg | £6.50/kg at 100kg | £6.00/kg at 250kg+ For commercial cargo over 250kg, FCL containers, or regular business shipments, contact us for a bespoke commercial rate. We work with many UK exporters on monthly consolidated shipments at preferential rates.
We accept payment via: 💳 M-Pesa — pay directly from Kenya in Kenyan shillings 🏦 Bank transfer — UK or international bank deposit 💳 Card payment — Visa and Mastercard accepted Payment is required to confirm your booking. We do not hold shipments without payment.

All shipments arriving in Kenya must be cleared through KRA. Triple A handles this in-house through Azaanex, our KRA-licensed clearing company in Nairobi. This means faster clearance, no third-party broker fees, and no surprise charges for our customers.
KEBS stands for the Kenya Bureau of Standards. Certain product categories imported into Kenya require KEBS certification or Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) before they can be cleared through customs. Products commonly requiring KEBS inspection include electronics, electrical equipment, food products, cosmetics, and children’s toys. Our team will advise you if your shipment requires KEBS documentation before shipping.
All international shipments leaving the UK are subject to security screening by UK Border Force. Packages may be X-rayed and, if required, opened for physical inspection. We strongly recommend providing an accurate and detailed packing list for all shipments. Misdeclaration of contents is a serious offence under UK and Kenyan law.

Typical duty rates for vehicles include: — Import Duty: 25% of CRSP — Excise Duty: 20% of (CRSP + Import Duty) — VAT: 16% of (CRSP + Import Duty + Excise Duty) — IDF Levy: 3.5% of CRSP Total taxes typically amount to 60–80% of the CRSP value. Contact us for a full duty estimate before purchasing your vehicle in the UK. Note: Returning Kenyan residents may qualify for duty exemption on personal-use vehicles — ask us about eligibility.
For RoRo shipments — no personal items are permitted inside the vehicle. The car must be empty of all personal belongings. For container shipments — a limited quantity of personal effects can be packed inside the vehicle within the container, subject to customs declaration and approval. We can arrange a separate sea freight shipment for your personal effects and household goods alongside your vehicle. Contact us to combine both into one consolidated Kenya-bound shipment.
