Why Triple A

Six Reasons to Choose Us

01
💷
£7.99/kg — Inclusive Shipping and Clearance
Many UK freight providers quote a lower headline rate but bill Kenya-side clearance separately — making the final landed cost significantly higher. Our £7.99/kg is the total cost. Done.
02
✈️
Weekly Friday Departures — Guaranteed
Not "regular flights" — every single Friday dispatch, from our London Southall warehouse. Goods MUST be received before midday Friday. Know exactly when your goods leave the UK.
03
🛃
Named KRA Partner — Azaanex
Many freight companies use unnamed third-party clearance models in Kenya. We use Azaanex Holdings Ltd — our named, licensed KRA partner. No mystery agents. No arrival surprises.
04
📍
London Southall Warehouse — UK's Kenyan Hub
Based where the UK Kenyan community shops and lives. Drop goods in person, use us as your UK delivery address, consolidate multiple orders — one address covers it all.
05
🇰🇪
All 47 Counties — White Glove Delivery
Once cleared at JKIA, you can collect your cargo or add our White Glove door-to-door service — covering all 47 counties in Kenya. Available for an additional fee based on your destination.
06
🚢
Sea Freight Available Too
Heavy, bulky cargo or items restricted from air? Our sea freight service starts at £2.95/kg with 2 guaranteed loadings every month.
FAQs

Common Questions

How long does air freight from the UK to Kenya take?
3 business days warehouse-to-warehouse from Friday midday cut-off. Goods are dispatched Friday, flight departs Monday, KRA clearance at JKIA on Tuesday, and delivery across Kenya on Wednesday. This includes flight transit, KRA customs clearance by Azaanex at JKIA Nairobi, and final delivery to your Kenya address if door to door delivery option. For a slower, cheaper option, our sea freight takes 40–45 days from £2.95/kg.
When does Triple A's air freight to Kenya depart?
The cut-off is midday Friday — goods must be at our London London Southall warehouse or collected before then. They are dispatched Friday for UK border control screening over the weekend. The direct flight departs every Monday from Heathrow to JKIA Nairobi, with KRA clearance Tuesday and delivery Wednesday.
Will I pay customs duties separately when goods arrive in Kenya?
No. Our £7.99/kg rate is all-inclusive. KRA duties — VAT 16%, Import Declaration Fee 3.5%, Railway Development Levy 2% — and Azaanex clearance fees are all covered. Many UK freight companies use third-party clearance models that result in an unexpected invoice after landing. With Triple A, what you're quoted is what you pay.
What is the minimum weight for air freight?
Minimum 1kg. Chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight or volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 6,000). For bulky but light items, volumetric weight may apply. We confirm chargeable weight when you book.
Can I send perfumes or aerosols by air freight?
No — perfumes over 100ml, aerosols, flammable liquids, pressurised items, alcohol, tobacco/vapes, adult toys, sexual products, and pornographic material are not accepted on air freight. These can often be shipped by sea instead. See our sea freight service or dangerous goods page.
Can I use Triple A's Southall address for UK shopping deliveries?
Yes — this is one of our most popular services. Have any UK retailer deliver to: Unit Z01, Canal Yard, Hayes Road, Southall, UB2 5NA. We receive it, weigh it, and dispatch it Friday for the Monday flight to Kenya. Contact us to set this up.
Where in Kenya does Triple A deliver?
Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and beyond — door-to-door across Kenya. Clearance at JKIA Nairobi by Azaanex, then onward delivery. Nairobi typically same or next day after clearance; upcountry may take 1–2 additional days.
Is Triple A cheaper than DHL or FedEx for Kenya?
For shipments over 5kg, Triple A's £7.99/kg all-inclusive rate is typically more competitive — and crucially, our rate includes full KRA customs clearance. International couriers often hit Kenyan recipients with unexpected duties on arrival, or their quoted rate excludes clearance entirely. Our rate is genuinely all-in.
